These guitars are Korean made, and now discontinued, so we have the very last of these models, in stock at a silly price!

The Batwing is a flat headstock model of the already successful Marquee (guitar of the year in 1999 and 2000).

The original Burns guitars first introduced in the early 60's had a one sided headstock with a distinct batwing shape. Burns have re-introduced the old style with slight improved modifications, including chrome hardware as standard.

One feature of the electronics on this guitar, is the unique push/pull pickup selector on one of the tone controls. This allows you to introduce the single coil neck pickup along with the bridge pickup, giving you a rich, warm tone that will still cut through. You won't get this from a Strat.

ALL OUR GUITARS ARE SETUP. USUALLY THIS IS DONE BY THE MANUFACTURER OR THE DISTRIBUTOR, AND CHECKED BY US WHEN WE RECEIVE THEM.

SOMETIMES, RARELY WITHIN THE UK, A GUITAR WILL SLOWLY ACCLIMATISE TO A NEW ENVIRONMENT. THIS COULD HAPPEN AS A RESULT OF DIFFERENT TEMPERATURE LEVELS AND HUMIDITY, FOR INSTANCE, WHEN KEPT IN A CENTRALLY HEATED ENVIRONMENT. A GUITAR MAY ALSO CHANGE AS A RESULT OF BEING “PLAYED IN”.

BESIDES ALL THIS, EVERY PLAYER HAS THEIR OWN DIFFERENT PREFERENCES.

BEARING ALL THIS IN MIND WE RECOMMEND THAT YOU PLAY IN YOUR GUITAR FOR A MONTH OR SO, AND THEN, IF YOU FEEL IT NEEDS ADJUSTMENT, ARRANGE FOR A SET-UP WITH YOUR LOCAL GUITAR TECH.
