BULK 50g Milk Thistle Seeds

Milk thistle is a spiny white veined plant with sharp spiny flowers and a purple center. It is actually quite attractive in the flower garden, and the blooms attract butterflies. Milk thistle is one of the top selling herbs world-wide.  Used clinically in Europe for many years, it has only recently become known in the U.S.  The seed is used as supportive treatment for many forms of chronic inflammatory liver disorders, varying from hepatitis to severe Amanita mushroom poisoning (in Germany).

Plant indoors or out in any soil. Please do not pamper these seeds else they do not grow. Low water requirements.

All parts of this plant can be eaten by tortoises.

Tortoises should not be fed solely on supermarket food as they offer little goodness to your tortoise (this is what was fed to tortoises year ago remember when there were hundreds of them, this is why they have died out).

These seeds are great if you have to keep your tortoise wake through the winter months.

IMPORTANT: Please do not feed your tortoise dried food how would you like to eat a dried piece of lettuce ??yes we eat dried fruit but not dried greens YUCK! grow your own food or pick weeds. Some plants are even toxic once dried you can never go wrong with growing your own!

All food should be supplemented with and a daily dusting of calcium (limestone flour see my other listings) and a suitable vitamin (nutrobal see my other listings).

Overseas: All overseas mail will be sent via royal mail recorded deliverly. Please contact me for a price.

Please allow up to 10 days for delivery within the UK  I will endevour to get your item in the post as soon as I have received payment but this will not always be humanly possible due to family commitments.

In the sad fact of any problems:

Please allow 14 days before contacting me complaining of non receipt of your items. I always keep a record of postage.

DAMAGES AND LOST ITEMS -  If any of the items you receive from me are damaged in the post, please be sure to KEEP all of the packaging and contents as this will be needed to validate any claims with the post office.

Postage is NOT refundable under ANY circumstances.

I started this business as i found that many people where finding it hard to get hold of some products and that much of the advice given from pet shops and some internet sources is poor to say the least.
