Connection Pack - No Hardware Inc BT Vision - a new service that lets our customers get TV programmes on demand. So they can watch whatever they want, When ever they want. And doubly exciting, it's the first mainstream TV service of its kind. Once a customer is signed up, they can access a library full of programmes to download through their broadband on to their TV. The library includes movies (both latest releases and classics), music videos, concerts, dramas, comedy, documentaries, kids' programmes... the list goes on. On top of that, our customers will get 40 Freeview channels through their aerial. There's a 'Replay TV' service that lets people catch up with some of the broadcast TV programmes they've missed during the previous week. And from this summer onwards we'll have a dedicated BT Vision sports service. There'll be the Setanta Sport channel and three quarters of all 2007/8 Premiership games - either live or on demand. That's enough for even the most dedicated armchair-footballer, we reckon. The V-box BT Vision works through a new set-top box called the V-box. As well as being the door to the programme library, it stores up to 80 hours of content, pauses or rewinds live TV and it also works with HD. They're worth £199 each, but to get them out there, we're giving them away free to customers who sign up for BT Total Broadband. Once you've got a box there's no compulsory subscription or minimum monthly payment. Customers can subscribe to particular types of programme if they want to, or they can pay as they go (with movies still cheaper than satellite, cable, or going down the video shop).
