RETRO BT / GPO BLACK 232f BAKELITE DIAL TYPE TELEPHONE

The telephone  has been reconditioned and converted for use on current net works, any faulty parts have been replaced, the phone has a chrome Alpha numeric dial and a reproduction dial label close to the original, I have many old originals if you would like one of those.  

The telepone is marked 1/232f FWR 55 on the base, the hand set is marked GPO

The phone has then been dismantled cleaned and polished, the phone has then been tested on BT and NTL (Virgin) networks. It has been fitted with a new Black BT type plug in connector and   is ready to use.

This telephone was made in 1955 and comes with the pull out cheese draw with a reproduction dailing card in it.

The telephone is in good working order and has a lovely old fashioned ringing sound, The phone did not have a bell as it had a seperate bell box, the phone has had a set of bells fitted internally. The phone works on both my NTL and BT lines it has also been tested on our mobile networks.  You will need to make sure your telephone line has pulse and tone dialing.
