This is a delightful small flat glazed  dish from the Briglin Pottery.

It has a smiling cat design on it.

Materials :   Made of terracotta coloured clay . On the inside of the dish there is a light blue glaze. The design is outlined in the same colour as the base clay, and filled in with white glaze.There is a clear glaze over the whole dish.

Measures :  10cms in diameter.

Marks:  has ‘Briglin’ imprinted on the base.

Condition is good. Some fine crazing on the cat design only ,still presents well.There is a shadow at the level of cats head from light.
