All our brake discs start life as premium quality blank castings which are produced by high end OEM brake manufacturers . These blanks are laser machined by AZCARPARTS UK we then re-apply custom grooving and drilling giving the brake disc a custom finish. Any manufacture logo we use is purely to highlight the blanks we are using and we feel this is the best procedure. We use premium quality castings which match critical OEM specifications such as surface finish, Surface hardness, material grade and cooling vane patterns. Our competitors do not state any manufacturer as they use foreign "economy" rotors that have inferior metallurgy, inadequate cooling vanes or thinner softer plates. No reponsibility for fitment or warranty is held by any of the manufacturers listed on any of our custom brake discs . All warranty and fitment of any brake component is the sole responsibility of AZCARPARTS UK and not with the manufacturer listed. All machined brake discs by nature of how the product performs will make some noise and this is not a cause for concern , However to correct brake vibration caused by DTV (Disc thickness variation). DTV develops in a car after 3000-4000 miles caused by run out built in to the car or due to incorrect alignment of the rotors at install. This is quite a common fault on modern cars and many cars require this at every rotor change. Drivers also confuse hub distortion with a rotor quality issue but in 99% of cases the DTV is a car problem, not a rotor quality problem. You can replace the rotors as many times as you like trying to solve vibration and the problem will only go away for a few thousand miles and then return. This means you have purchased new rotors in good faith but the problem IS NOT SOLVED AND WILL NOT GO AWAY PERMANENTLY until you perform this procedure. After this skimming of the rotor surface you will have smooth brakes , more effective brakes and ZERO vibration. It is even a very worthwhile practice when fitting new rotors to have all four rotors skimmed into perfect alignment on your car with this inexpensive procedure. This is the one of the main reasons we along with all main performance brake disc suppliers do not offer warranty due to DTV on any of our brake components. Our Cross Drilled/Dimpled Slotted Rotors can be used with existing calipers, leaving the installation simple and fast, yet providing superior braking performance and giving your vehicle a custom appearance.
