    Description

    The Braun BP5010 Upper Arm Blood Pressure Monitor comes with a L/XL Extra Comfort Precision Cuff which is designed to adjust to your arm as it inflates, so you know you have the correct fit. It is clinically validated to AAMI (Association for the Advancement of Medical Instruments), giving you reassurance that the readings are accurate if the device is used correctly.

    How is your blood pressure?

    In the UK about half of people over 65, and about 1 in 4 middle aged adults, have high blood pressure (sometimes called hypertension). This can lead to serious health problems such as kidney disease, heart attacks and strokes. There is no cure to high blood pressure but monitoring and a healthy lifestyle can be enough to keep it under control.

To treat hypertension successfully, your doctor may recommend that you take your blood pressure at home regularly, and record the results.
