My son, who is in Key Stage 2, went to a school club called THINKING SKILLS.
When he got home he kept on telling me about the great games he had been playing.
I was so impressed with them that I thought it would be great to make these games more accessible to other parents of school age children.
So here goes.
BRAINBOX - All Around THE WORLD
The Ten Minute Memory Recall Game
How to play Brainbox
For 2 or more players
The object of the game is to win as many cards as possible in ten minutes.
The first player takes a card from the Brainbox and turns the timer over. The player then has ten seconds t study the picture on the card.
When the timer runs out the card is passed to player two and player one rolls the die to see which question is to be asked. The questions are on the reverse of the picture card.
Player two checks the answer by looking at the picture and if it is correct the card is given back to player one to keep. If the answer is wrong the card is placed back into the Brainbox and the next player chooses a card.
Please remember, the answer to the question is on the picture side of the card, so look carefully!
The player with the most cards after ten minutes wins!
If there is a tie, it's sudden death wit both players choosing a card and having to answer all eight questions on the card. The player who answers the most correctly wins.
For 1 Player
Look at the card as above for ten seconds. Then turn the card over and answer all the questions (use a pen and paper to write down the answers). If all questions are answered correctly the card is kept. If any answers are incorrect, the card has to be put back in the Brainbox. See how many cards you have after five or ten minutes.
Above all have fun!!

All the toys I am selling are thoroughly thought out and have a lot of educational value. For example they may include: building team work, communication skills, maths and literacy skills.
They can also help with special needs such as Dyslexia and Dyspraxia.
Some can help to build confidence and concentration, encourage sequencing skills, develop sequencing strategies and problem solving.
We have played them as a family and all of us have really enjoyed taking part.
Some of them are a real challenge!!
The games will make excellent Christmas or Birthday presents and are also great for groups to play for example, Out of school clubs, Breakfast Clubs, Scouts, Cubs, Brownies and Guides.
In fact whether you are young or old, girl or boy, it really doesn’t matter you can have brilliant fun when ever you play.
We hope you enjoy them as much as we have.
If there are any games that you think we might enjoy or you are looking for,
