Boys' retro style bowling shoes in soft navy/white leather with mock lace up & velcro fastening strap.  Squeaker mechanism incorporated into the heel, which makes a squeak with every step your child takes - great fun for kids and security for parents, as they act like an audible radar system to let you know where your little one is at all times. Allows you to dispense with reins and wrist straps, allowing your child more freedom to move around, without the headache of keeping track of them.

The squeaker is also removeable for times when quiet shoes are required, giving you the best of both worlds. Simply tweeze out the tube from the side of the sole and store in a safe place away from tiny hands.  Then simply re-insert the tube to re-activate the squeaker.

They also make excellent first shoes, as babies are encouraged by the squeak to be upright and active. As they concentrate on hearing the squeak with each step, they concentrate less on the fear factor of actually taking those first tentative steps and thanks to the rubber soles providing excellent grip, babies soon develop their balance and confidence.  The rubber rim around the edge is almost like a bumper car, to avoid them scuffing directly on to the leather, so they still look good even during the transition from crawling to walking. 

As a parent to a very active toddler, I can thoroughly recommend squeaky shoes.  They're definitely more funky than the boring styles you see in the shops and our daughter loves them! Shopping or being out and about is never a problem now I can hear her even if I can't always see her and the squeak lets me know exactly in which direction to find her. Perfect!
