Vintage British Railway Southern Region print advertising the Dorset resort of Bournemouth (print shows the seafront (prior to the overpass being built etc), with the Winter Gardens and pier. The print is in as new condition and was bought by myself from SSPLprints.com originally (new price £50). The image measures 50.5cm wide by 40cm high and is printed on Fuji Crystal Archive paper with a satin (matt) finish. The poster was originally produced in 1947 and was drawn by the illustrator Verney Danvers. I will also include in the sale another (small) BR print advertising Bournemouth. Again it is in as new condition and the image measures 12cm wide by 19.5cm high on the same paper. Excellent prints that would be a nice addition to any collection of vintage railway posters or just someone who loves the beauty of Bournemouth. Prints will be mailed rolled in a cardboard tube.
