BOOTHS PLATE WHICH SEEMS TO BE VERY RARE.  I CAN FIND NO TRACE OF THIS PARTICULAR DESIGN ON THE VARIOUS WEBSITES DEDICATED TO THE POTTERIES.  THE BACKSTAMP HOWEVER (SHOWING BOOTHS 'SILICO CHINA' MADE IN ENGLAND)CAN CLEARLY BE SEEN AS THAT OF 1912+ (IT CHANGES AGAIN CIRCA 1930) ON THE WEBSITE the potteries.org/mark/b/booths/html.  THIS IS THE SITE FOR NORTH STAFFORDSHIRE POTTERIES - BOOTHS LTD. MANUFACTURERS OF EARTHENWARES AT TUNSTALL. BACK OF PLATE IS ALSO ENGRAVED WITH THE NUMBER 439 WITH AN X ABOVE IT AND A SIX PETALLED FLOWER SHAPE ABOVE THAT.  THE NAME 'CORINTHIAN' IS ALSO STAMPED ON AS ARE ALL THE REGISTERED NUMBERS FOR BRITAIN, CANADA AND THE UNITED STATES.
