Original illuminated medieval manuscript bifolium out of a
Book of Hours!
Made in France, Troyes, ca. 1450-1475   

Very nice unique of a medieval Scriptorium!


DESCRIPTION:
- 14 lines in Latin
- gothic bookhand written in dark brown ink 
- numerous very beautiful one- and two-line-high initials in burnished gold on red and blue
ground with white tracery
- 3 very nice floral three-quarter-borders in gold and colours

Size of leaf (opened) app.: 15.0 x 23.0 cm
Written space app.: 8.0 x 6.5 cm

CONDITION:
- marginal stained
- minimal holes due to stitching 
- besides in very good condition

Sehr Schönes Unikat aus einem mittelalterlichen Skriptorium!

BESCHREIBUNG:
- jeweils 14 Zeilen in Latein
- gotische Handschrift in dunkelbrauner Tinte
- einige sehr hübsche ein- und zweizeilige Initialen und Zeilenfüller in Blattgold, Rot und Blau
mit weißer Verzierung
- 4 sehr dekorative, floral gestaltete Dreiviertel-Bordüren

Größe des Pergamentes (auseinandergefaltet!): 15,0 x 23,0 cm
 Textmaß ca.: 8,0 x 6,5 cm

ZUSTAND:
- geringfügig fleckig
- Heftlöcher im Mittelfalz
- ansonsten in sehr gutem Zustand
