Bold Venture MP3 Collection

A collection of radio Bold Venture shows, in MP3 format on CD-R. Contains all existing half-hour shows (45) on 1 handy CD which will play in any CD-MP3 player (or DVD players which support this format). Alternatively you can download the files to your PC and then transfer to your MP3 player. Please note will NOT play on ordinary CD players, must have CD-MP3 compatibility.

These shows comprise ALL EXISTING original radio broadcasts of the Humphrey Bogart and Lauren Bacall syndicated show which ran from 1951-1952. Bold Venture is the story of Salty seadog Slate Shannon (Bogart) who owns a Cuban hotel sheltering an assortment of treasure hunters, revolutionaries and other shady characters. With his sidekick and ward, the sultry Sailor Duval (Bacall), tagging along, he encounters modern-day pirates and other tough situations while navigating the waters around Havana. Aboard his boat, the Bold Venture, Slate and Sailor experience "adventure, intrigue, mystery and romance in the sultry settings of tropical Havana and the mysterious islands of the Caribbean."

All shows have been checked and verified, arranged chronologically, with dates on each show - not jumbled and duplicated as with some other compilations! These are ALL the Bold Venture shows that survive from that period (the shows were known by differing titles but to clarify this I have included alternate titles when naming each show). The sound quality is mostly very good, a handful are of inferior quality but all are perfectly listenable. Please note this is an unprinted disc with no artwork but supplied with CD protective box.
