The DV130S is a light, compact and very easy to use video camera with the added bonus of  also taking still photo's.

  What with all these megapixels etc, etc, that us adults expect from a camcorder it probably would not suit the professional user!  Then saying that, this is as good as most mini camcorders on the market!. But with the specification, low buy-it-now price, the ease of use and it being small and light-weight this camcorder has the lot!!

Although this camcorder is not marketed as a toy, with adult supervision it really would make the perfect gift for either a young budding photographer or a beginner. 

It has a 1.5 inch flip-out screen which is great for veiwing while your filming, or for playing back your best bit's when you have finished. 

Transfer your photo's or film's to your PC via the supplied USB cable to store, use as screensavers, send to friends and family by e-mail or upload to websites. The software included (Photoimpression and videoimpression) allows you to edit videos and photos on the PC, or just use the supplied AV cable to watch them direct on your TV. How cool is that?

If you don't want to transfer your creations straight away, it's not a problem because the 32MB of internal memory is more than enough to keep a few bits on, and you can easily increase your memory with an additional SD or MMC card up to 1GB in size.
