BMW 5 series, 7 series ,X5 from 1996-2005 all have the common dissapering pixels on the large lcd display that shows valuable data such as the mileage and the on board computer messages. The problem lies with the ribbon that connects the lcd to the circuitboard, and also the lcd screen. NOTE: The Range Rover , Vogue , HSE use a similar speedometer to the BMW.

We will replace the lcd and ribbon bringing back the display to show 100% of the pixels, thus eleminating the problem and saving cost. A new BMW dashboard cost over £400 plus, not including programming and mileage correction.

procedure

1) send us your faulty unit via recorded mail

2) Once we receive your item, our technician will power up the unit and locate the problem

3) Repair the fault and have the unit posted back out via royal mail recorded delivery
