A small guitar that thinks big! this gorgeous instrument plays and sounds every bit as good as it looks. And it looks just like a scaled down Tele style solid electric in every detail.
A small electric built without compromise. Ideal for the young beginner or anyone looking for a small and light travel electric guitar. This great guitar is not just for the kids, as a parents guide, it would suit children between the ages of 6-10 (or big kids of any size!)
All the high specifications of its big brother the mighty Bluerock TLX electric, one of the biggest selling electric guitars on the net, are included. The same quality pickups that would shame guitars at three times the price are loaded into the mini tlx. Combined with super stable tuning machines and a fully adjustable bridge, this guitar has got the lot!
The best way to introduce a youngster to a musical instrument is to ensure that the guitar doesn\'t just look good, it has to play good too. Bluerock once again sets the standard. This is a proper scaled down electric guitar for the young beginner.
At Cranes we have had several mini electrics for sale in the store over the years and this is by far the best of the bunch in terms of build quality and playability. We have found many limitations with small electrics offered in the past but not so with the Bluerock mini TLX. It is the best small guitar that we have come across.
For the technically minded, it has a fast easy to play maple neck with a rosewood fingerboard. The tuning machine heads are die-cast and closed back. The body is made from solid wood (not plywood). The material is chosen for its excellent tone and very light weight.
Just like its big brother the Bluerock mini tlx is loaded with two versatile single coil pickups linked to a three way switch. This allows the player to select different a combination of pickups giving a wide variety of classic tones. A master volume and tone pot mounted on a chrome plate complete the controls.
The guitar is beautifully finished in translucent blonde that shows off the wood grain.
All the features of a full size electric in a handy, small and light package.
For those about to rock.....

A Word For First Time Buyers..
Most people only have one chance in their life to learn music, and parents tend to be the main providers of that chance. Instead of a life-long pleasure, a bad quality instrument could turn that opportunity into a short-lived experience and disappointment. So, how can you make sure that you give your child the best chance to succeed?
If you visit a general music shop, the chances are that you are going to be advised by somebody who does not understand the intricacies of guitars as instruments, and will tell you that this one is more expensive than that one therefore it is better (or vice versa!). This is not necessarily true. In today\'s market, there are many instruments available, with all sorts of price tags, but they reflect the country of origin more than the quality of the instrument. You may think that spending a little more (or even a lot more) than the cheapest instrument will get you something decent, but this gives no guarantee of a good instrument. Here at Cranes we are guitar specialists, we live and breathe guitars and we care very deeply about supplying a playable, worth while instrument that the beginner can thrive on
You might also have been given the idea that an old instrument would be better than a new one because it has been played in. Again, this is not necessarily true. In fact, some of the worst instruments we have ever seen date from the middle of the 19th century. Also the prices have generally gone down over the past five years but the quality is far better at nearly any given price point.
It is not HOW MUCH you spend that counts, it is WHAT you spend it on!
