LIBERTY BLUE PLATTER

Fantastic blue and white ironstone platter.

Decorated with a wonderfully detailed scene of 'Washington crossing the Delaware'.

From the Liberty Blue range printed from original copper engravings of historic colonial scenes.

Made in Staffordshire, England.

Backstamped as shown.

Good condition - there is a small firing fault to the border, a chip to the underside rim, a tiny nibble to the rim and one other chip that has been repaired and is now only visible on close inspection.

Approximately 14"/35.5cm by 11"/28cm.

A beautiful platter - great to use and would look wonderful on display on a shelf or dresser.
