THIS IS A SUPERB EXAMPLE OF A VERY ELEGANT AND COLLECTABLE BRITISH GPO TELEPHONE. THE TELEPHONE HAS BEEN CLEANED/POLISHED, A BT PLUG HAS BEEN FITTED, IT HAS BEEN PROFESSIONALLY CONVERTED, IS IN FULL WORKING ORDER AND HAS A JET BLACK NATURAL SHEEN AS YOU CAN SEE IN THE PICTURES.

THIS TYPE OF TELEPHONE WAS NOT MANUFACTURED WITH AN INTERNAL BELL, SO YOU WILL HAVE TO RELY ON OTHER TELEPHONES TO ALERT YOU TO AN INCOMING CALL.

THE SPEECH IS CLEAR AND ORIGINAL 1940'S MICROPHONE HAS BEEN KEPT FOR AUTHENTIC SPEECH. THIS PARTICULAR MODEL HAS A RARE No12 CHROME DIAL. THE HANDSET HAS THE RECESSED NUMBERS 164-48. THE TELEPHONE HAS NO DAMAGE AND STILL HAS THE ORIGINAL BRAIDED CORD, THIS WOULD MAKE A LOVELY ADDITION TO ANY STYLE OF HOME.
