The smaller 1874 1st edition of R W Proctor's "Memorials of Manchester Streets" together with a signed entire letter by the author which has been glued (just) into the book! The scan shows "Ancoats Old Hall".

The smaller version does not contain the list of subscribers.

Both versions contain 27 engravings in over 400 pages, and most of them are in very good condition. However, one or two pages do have 'dust' marks, the covers look grubby, the spine is 'cracked' and if you open the book in one certain place, it almost comes apart.

If you buy two,  or more  items  the books will be sent separately.  For the remainder of the lots  please wait until we send you a combined invoice.

However,  if you pick up the item(s) from our  South Withington, Manchester  premises,  we will give you a 15% discount.
