This item is a rare old food advertising booklet:

BISTO - the way to a Man's heart - What shall we have for dinner today?

This booklet consists of 24 pages of recipes, each one with an illustration which includes a packet of Bisto. The front enpaper has a nice picture of a Bisto tin & packet (see scan), page 2 shows Cerebos House London NW10.

Published by CEREBOS LTD, not dated but looks 1930s.  

Stiff card covered booklet, 24 pages plus cover, size approx 10cm x 16cm. Overall good condition, clean, contents good, corners good, staples spine tight. Very nice.

An excellent item for the local historian, family history researcher and collector.
