The Warship Collection by FURUTA – Volume 1

A collection of miniature historical warships in various scales (1:900 to 1:2600)


- Imported from Japan in 2004 (Now a discontinued series of models)

- Supplied in New Condition, sealed in plastic blister pack with pictorial assembly sheet and backing photo card.

 

Model Details
This is a model of the Bismarck; made from high quality injection moulded ABS plastic, this is a full hull model, well finished in an accurate multi-tone paint scheme. The model is part-assembled. Additional parts to clip-together include the vertical mast detail, gun turrets and two miniature seaplanes (these are supplied on a sprue). Each model comes with a black plastic display base (with warship name printed in gold) - the model is suspended on two stilts.

 

Model Manufacturer
The Warship Collection (Volume 1) by Furuta of Japan, was released in 2004. There are 9 different models in this series including the Case Special Yamato (different colour scheme).This volume of models had a limited production run, and are now discontinued.

Model Dimensions
The warship is in accurate 1/2000th scale, the dimensions are as follows:
(Millimetres) :- 120 mm long, 18 mm beam.
(Inches) :- 4.75" inches long, 0.7" inches beam.
