Superb postal options for overseas buyers.
This offer is for a Stunning and Very, Very Large Meat Plate in this wonderful pattern.
The blue ground is of a soft sky blue with a hint of lilac which has been applied to a lovely moulded fish scale body. There is also a very delicate image of three Seagulls.
Ideal for serving a very large roast or a baked salmon.
I also use my largest meat plate as a Service Plate. Thus when I bring through a smaller roast on a smaller meat plate there is a place all ready for it on the table. The extra layer also protects my table from heat damage.
There are no chips, or cracks.
The colours are very bright and clear.
A few use/storage scratches.
There are a few imperfections typical of handmade items. Please note this plate is marked as seconds.
This is an ideal opportunity to extend your existing set or replace breakages.
I have also listed many other items in this pattern.
so please....

I will certainly offer very good postal discounts for multiple purchases.
Bing & Grondahl is a famous Danish factory making fine porcelains and was opened in 1853 by Frederick Vilhelm Grondahl. Grondahl was an artist and sculptor. M.H. and J.H. Bing were successful businessmen in the city of Copenhagen and using the talents of Grondahl and the investment of the Bing brothers the company was launched.
Vilhelm Grondahl died during 1855 which should have meant the end of this young venture.
But the Bing brothers were made of strong stuff and despite some hard years they solved many production problems and finally established products that have stood the test of time.
Underglaze blue decoration commenced in 1886.
Rapid growth of the company was the result throughout the 20th century and Bing and Grondahl were able to open a second factory in 1949 to keep up with demand.
The firm has used the initials B & G and a stylised castle as part of the mark since 1898.
Bing and Grondahl’s porcelain collectibles are featured in the Buckingham Palace and the Royal Courts of Denmark, Sweden, and Great Britain. Additionally, many of Bing and Grondahl’s collectible items can be found in the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York.
The company became part of Royal Copenhagen in 1987.
