BIG BONNY AM 351 ANTIQUE BISQUE HEAD BABY









 

This Dream Baby was made in Germany by Armand Marseille C1926.

He is large measuring 24" (61cm) and has a bisque head and composition body.

The back of the head is impressed A M 351/9k.

His weighted glass eyes are blue and in working order, most of the eye lid wax has worn away with time. When he is lying down the left eye is set a little deeper than the right but it isn't noticeable when he is sitting up.He has an open mouth with two lower teeth.The hair is moulded and painted,the back of the head has some scuff marks to the paint.

As can be clearly seen in the photos.he has damage to the right lower eye where a cracked piece of bisque has been re-glued into place at some time.(please study the photos. for details).

Apart for this the head is in good condition.

His composition body is a five piece baby body.The body sockets are worn at all the joints and some surface plaster is missing at the joints.The fingers and toes have damage to the tips.

He wears a pretty white night dress with embroidery on the yoke and is finely pleated into a waist tie.It fastens at the back with ties at the neck.

I WOULD PREFER NOT TO POST THIS DOLL AND WOULD LIKE THE PURCHASER TO COLLECT IT.

If the doll is posted it would be well packaged and insured but would be at the purchasers risk.The purchaser would be resposible for making a claim for any damage caused in the post.

I will NOT accept returns on this doll using the postal system.
