These tinted safety/sports glasses offer the ultimate in eye protection, and are unique in as much as they are BIFOCAL .
Often sought after, they have been rarely available as they are a recent arrival on the U.K scene.
The clever design incorporates built in lower bifocal segments, making one pair of glasses double as reading glasses and safety glasses as well as protecting from sunshine or glare. This does not, however compromise your distance vision when you look up as the top section is not magnified - so you can keep them on for all your tasks/games and walk around freely.
This idea dispenses with the need to wear ready readers beneath your safety ones which are bulky and impractical, but the full wrap-around still offers protection at the top and sides.
These particular glasses are beneficial for outdoor pursuits, as they are tinted. The tint is dark at the top and graduates to less dark below -where the magnified portion is - (i.e. a full tint is unnecessary when viewing near objects or looking down)
Innovative in design, they nevertheless comply with ANSI Z87.1 safety standards, deeming them suitable for most domestic and industrial uses.
