BEYOND VALOR *ASL Module 12 WW2 board game Squad Leader

BEYOND VALOR is the first, and most important, of the Advanced Squad Leader modules and brings the Russian and German orders of battle from 1939-1945 into the ASL system as well as three different squad-types of Finnish troops.

This enables you to command every major vehicle, weapon and troop type used on the Eastern Front throughout the war.

This newest, and we anticipate the last (should further reprintings be required the contents are not expected to change), printing of BEYOND VALOR has 10 ASL Starter Kit-style maps, 14 sheets of die-cut counters, 24 scenarios, various player aids and dice.

The inclusion of ASL map boards - 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 8, 20, 21, 22 and 23 will allow you to play all the updated 24 scenarios contained within BEYOND VALOR with just the addition of the ASL Rulebook.

Scenarios 1-10 are the ten original ASL scenarios, published in the first and second editions of Beyond Valor. Scenarios 123-136 were previously published in other 'Out of Print' venues (The GENERAL, ASL Annual, or ASL Journal) and have been renumbered with their inclusion in this new BEYOND VALOR. Previously identified errata have been incorporated, and some Victory Conditions and Scenario Special Rules have been reworded slightly for clarification.

Additionally, the module contains the necessary markers and fortifications required by the ASL Series.

Zhabinki, Russia, June 22nd, 1941...The road is suddenly filled with an approaching Russian motorized column. Only your tiny advance force of three vehicles stands between them and Zhabinki. You wonder if you can possibly hold them off as your gunner slams the first AP round into the breach...

Stalingrad, Russia, September 14th, 1942...Stalingrad is quiet. Your 2nd Battalion has penetrated the western outskirts of the city with little opposition. The volga lie only a few blocks ahead. surely it will be yours by nightfall....

Warsaw, Poland, January 17th, 1945...The clank of treads on cobblestones foretold the imminent liberation of Warsaw. Without armour or sufficient reserves, the German defense of the city had scant chance, but the fighting would be bitter nonetheless....
