I know that's grand claim, but I'm prepared to back it. If you don't think these are the best frying pans you've ever used, just send them back for a full refund, even though you've used them. I can't praise these Green Pans highly enough. They use a new technology which coats the pan with a ceramic non-stick surface that is completely and permanently non-stick! It's amazing. The food seems to float on it. It cleans with a wipe. They are imported exclusively by Typhoon from Belgium and will be the next big thing in cooking. If you watch The Great British Menu, you'll see all the chefs using them. They're easy to spot because, although the brand name is Green Pan, the coating is a lovely pale grey. The pans are 20cms, 24cms and 28cms wide. The set retails for £72. So it is pretty good value, even at full price. But don't buy it for that. Buy it because these really are the best. Here are a few reasons why. Unlike conventional non-stick, you can use metal implements with them. You can cook without any kind of fat or oil (if you want to, that is). Who needs George Foreman? Unlike Le Creuset, they are light enough for you to take your casserole to the table without spraining your back. The handles are ergonomic and can handle hot ovens and over-entusiastic gas flames. They go in the dishwasher, but can be cleaned with a just wipe. Unlike any other non-stick, you can heat them to high temperatures, so you can sear/seal meat properly - and it won't stick. They are an environmentalist’s dream. That's why they're called Green Pan - made mostly from recycled materials and silica(sand). No PTFEs - unlike all other non-stick pans. Green Pan also plant a tree in India for every pan bought! They are guaranteed for 5 years. This range is called Boston. The full range and includes a skillet, a wok, 3 saucepans and a casserole.
