BEST NON-STICK FRYING PAN IN THE WORLD 24 cms - medium

I know that's grand claim, but I'm prepared to back it. If you don't think it's the best frying pan you've ever used, just send it back for a full refund, even though you've used it.

I can't praise this pan highly enough. It uses a new technology which coats the pan with a ceramic non-stick surface that really is non-stick! It's amazing. The food seems to float on it. It cleans with a wipe. They are made in Belgium and will be the next big thing in cooking. If you watch The Great British Menu, you'll see all the chefs using them. They're easy to spot because, although the brand name is Green Pan, the coating is a lovely pale grey.

These retail for £24. So it's a good deal. But don't buy it for that. Buy it because it's the best frying pan you'll ever use. And here are a few other reasons.

Unlike conventional non-stick, you can use metal implements with them.

You can fry without any kind of fat or oil (if you want to, that is). Who needs George Foreman?

Unlike Le Creuset, they are light enough for you to practice your chef’s pan-toss without spraining your wrist.

The handles are ergonomic and can handle hot ovens and over-enthusiastic gas flames.

They go in the dishwasher, but can just be cleaned with a wipe.

Unlike any other non-stick, you can heat them to high temperatures, so you can sear/seal meat properly - and it won't stick.

They are an environmentalist’s dream. That's why they're called Green Pan - made without any PTFEs (unlike all other non-sticks) and mostly from recycled materials and silica(sand). This range is named after the Kyoto envirnmental treaty (and they even plant a tree in India for each one sold, which is going a bit far, in my opinion!)
