On offer is this large stunning lustre arts and crafts movement bowl by Bernard Moore.

Decorated on the outside with red lustre pattern. Internally decorated with gold, blue and red lustre fish jumping from water that spirals from the center of the bowl. The decoration is stunning.

The bowl is signed Bernard Moore to the base,

Circa 1900.

As can be seen from the photos there is damage to the bowl. There is a crack that runs half way round where the footrim meets the body of the bowl, this travels through to the inside of the bowl. It is contained within the bowl and does not got to the rim. The bowl stills 'pings' when tapped and does not sound dull or cracked.

This fabulous piece is well worth restoring, or will display well as is.

The bowl is quite large, measuring 24cm wide and 10cm tall.

An excellent example of Bernard Moore's work.
