On 29-Oct-09 at 08:57:30 GMT, seller added the following information:IMPORTANT INFORMATION FOR ALL BUYERS ~ PLEASE READ ~ THANK YOU, DIANE Detailed Seller Ratings (Feedback) are very important to all sellers on eBay and due to very strict rulings being implemented by eBay if we do not meet certain targets our business is severely restricted, so I thought I would take this opportunity to confirm a few items that apply to my terms & conditions. POSTAGE & PACKING: all buyers need to be aware that this price is not just the cost of the postage, this cost is made up of not only the postage, but all the other items that are needed to post your item, I.e. padded envelopes, bubble wrap, address labels, compliment slips, these items all have to be purchased, plus I have a 10 mile round trip to post your item. This area in relation to feedback is of huge concern to me as a seller, I have revised my prices as much as I can, but due to the mixture of products that I sell and the very varying weights of them, I am not able to offer an across the board discounted postage price for multiple purchases, these need to be looked at on an individual basis. I will always, without exception offer a multi buy postage discount, I even have a note at checkout advising buyers that if you have purchased more than one item, please ask me to send you a combined invoice, or alternatively email me for a quote, I’m more than happy to provide you with the cost. Even with my checkout notice advising of postage discounts for multi purchases, some buyers still continue to pay in full and then when it comes to leaving feedback, I am marked down as being very expensive. PLEASE always check the costs fully before purchasing, ask for full and final postage costs and if you are not happy let me know, I will do my best to accommodate you, failing this, perhaps you might like to purchase your item elsewhere if you can find more favourable terms. COMMUNICATION: I have had experience in the past of buyers giving me very low scores in feedback for communication, this I find extremely hurtful, I will always, through eBay, advise all of my customers of despatch of your orders, these emails may end up in some buyers spam folders? I cannot be sure, but they are always sent, so to then receive the lowest of scores (very unsatisfied and unsatisfied) I’m at a loss to know what more I could have done! I will always respond promptly to any question, no matter how small or inconsequential, customer service is of paramount importance to me, and I will always do my very best to resolve any queries or issues that may arise. My repeat buyers will already be aware of this. DELAYS AND MISSING ITEMS: Lots of buyers are experiencing delays with their items, I stipulate that I will ship within 3 working days, and always try to ship much quicker than this, at the moment several items seem to be going missing, both in the UK and abroad (this is the worst I have ever known it to be!) this situation is totally out of my control, and I’m not able to file a claim for missing/lost items until a certain length of time has elapsed, for the UK this is 15 working days after posting and for International it is 25 working days after posting. I always obtain proof of shipment, and if in the event the item does not arrive, I will file the claim at the appropriate time and refund/replace the item, whichever is appropriate. I hope the points above help to clarify some of the problem areas that I have, and I hope you, as a buyer can see how important feedback is to me in trying to run a successful business, and one which keeps everyone happy .
