This beautiful silver & ebony bracelet comes from Niger, West Africa and has been handmade to an incredibly high standard by Tuareg silversmiths. The Tuareg are a semi-nomadic people who have lived in the Sahara Desert for hundreds of years, their silver jewellery is worn as a sign of status and wealth. The bracelet has an internal diameter of 67mm and the opening is approximately 38mm. The silver used in our jewellery is not the mixture of silver and nickel that is used in a lot of cheaper Tuareg jewellery, it is pure silver which has a clean and bright appearance and obviously a much higher value.
