BLACK and GOLD RECUMBENT ANUBIS

 

 Product Description

 

Each Black and Gold Anubis is made from resin, finished in black and gold paint with a high sheen.

 

Anubis, was the God the Ancient Egyptians believed, would protect the dead on their journey to the afterlife.

 

He was usually portrayed as a human with a Jackal's Head, or in full jackal form wearing a ribbon round his neck.

 

The black colour of Anubis is representative of rotting flesh and the black soil of the Nile Valley, symbolizing rebirth.

 

Each Black and Gold Anubis comes packed individually in a plain card box.
