You are looking at a licensed museum quality reproduction of an Eoraptor skull. The original specimen came from the Late Triassic age of Valley of the Moon, Argentina. Certain fossils are just too costly and some are one-of-a-kind specimens that can only be viewed at museums. This fossil reproduction is the right side cast of the skull taken directly from the actual fossil itself. The replica skull measures 112mm long x 61mm high. The Eoraptor was the earliest known dinosaur. These tiny dinosaurs were swift cursorial hunters, who already are showing birdlike characteristics.
