DESCRIPTION

Mark is well worn, but enough remains to read “ELLIS” for London pewterer Samuel Ellis (operating 1721-1765), with a second mark. Another mark shows a crouching fox. Stamped initials “S. T.”. Raised tooled rim.







CONDITION
Excellent. Very minor surface abrasions and corrosion. Great old patina. A FINE AND EARLY PEWTER CHARGER.
