BEACH BUGGY PROJECT

Here we have a project buggy for someone who fancies something simple to work on over the winter months.

Please read the description carefully, I pride myself on having maintained a high level of feedback but havent sold anything like this on here before so its important you know what you are getting (and more importantly what you are not!)

I have a shortened (SWB) vw chassis complete with V5 confirming that the car will be tax exempt but more importantly it doesnt mention 'Beetle' anywhere on it meaning you wont have problems with SVA inspections etc (although I suspect its been a buggy for some time).

You are bidding for:

Shell

Front Lights

Aluminium screen surround and screen

rolling chassis with adjustable front beam

gearbox and driveshafts (as in picture) unable to verify what condition its in though as I have never had it running

Drum brakes all round, along with handbrake mechanism

Full set of shortened cables for handbrake, clutch, throttle etc (already in the chassis not sure how old they are but they operate ok)

Shortened gear stick

Dials, ally dash insert

Steering wheel and colum

Petrol tank with central filler and ally aircraft style filler cap

There is NO ENGINE so obviously dont bid and think you can come and drive it away (which would be totally illegal anyway).

Brought it for the wheels and engine which I will be using on my own project Manx that I am currently building, the funds from this will go some way to paying for the parts for that.

Will make someone a cheap buggy and is at a stage where the difficult and time consuming stuff is done
