The beading wire is made of 7 tiny stainless steel wires stranded together and coated with nylon. Thickness is .018 inch (0.45cm). It is flexible and resists kinking unless severely bent. It can be knotted and crimped, intended to be part of the design. This is the .018 size, generally used for medium to bigger sized crystals, gemstones, glass and metal beads.
