BAKELITE ERA GENUINE 1920's CARVED RARE CELLULOID PIN

    This pine is fine example of early 1920's Celluloid jewelry.
I have received several from a French collector, all roaring '20's genuine celluloid.
This and an identical pin offered in olive green are extraordinary examples of the finest colors ever cast in celluloid. Rich, shimmering hues of red, oranges and silver.
Easily tests positive with hot water for that unique camphor odor.
If you want the most unique in genuine celluloid of European origin - look no further.
A fine example for the sophisticated collector and still very wearable.
This pin is without damage in overall excellent vintage condition and approx 80 years old. The pin back is a simple flex clasp and functions very well, but does have visible surface corrosion. Request a photo if desired.
