Weighing in at more than 3 kg, and over 22cm long, this stunning creation is hand-made from solid stainless steel. The skull and jawbone are 2 separate, interlocking components. The entirely manual production of this intricate item took one highly skilled artisan 10 hours of solid work. Its retail value is £950. You are getting a completely unique Item of exceptional quality. Hand-crafted in a British armoury by a highly-skilled, time-served artisan, your skeleton is a stunning, captivating item that will bring many hours of pleasure for years to come. The Armoury that made your item also makes swords on personal commission for Royalty and the famous. They custom-make items to order for discerning collectors worldwide and have a very long waiting list. They are suppliers to the Royal Armouries’ National Museum of Arms and Armour. They also design and make unique sculptures for world-famous musicians. Such is their quality and craftsmanship that sums in excess of £20 000 are commanded for their work. Manufacturing Process – Stainless Steel Baboon Skull. The Armoury made a first generation wax master of the skull in 2 sections (head and jawbone/teeth). These were then finished in solid stainless steel and hot moulded. Once set, the skull was ‘fettered’, ie, finished by hand, so that all welds and impurities were polished off. The skull was then ‘patinated’, ie, partially blackened with heat, and finally waxed.             CERTIFICATE OF AUTHENTICITY Your piece of art comes with a Certificate of Authenticity (CoA), originating from and signed by the artisan who made it. As a legitimate CoA, it contains specific details about the art, such as when and how it was produced, the art's exact title and dimensions and it also includes his or her complete and current contact information. Your collection of skeletons and skulls is totally exclusive; you will not see anything of similar quality elsewhere. These superb creations were built to captivate, to enjoy, and to last.
