B95. Exceptional Leather LINE BRACELET Box c1890

Over the next 15 or so weeks, we will be listing around 10 Victorian and Edwardian Jewellery boxes a week. All of these have come from my private stock of boxes and the majority are exceptional with the rarest of fitted inserts for lockets, cufflinks, bracelets, rings and pendants etc. These will all be sold on ebay. Each box will be labeled from B1 though to around B150 and please remember to use this reference with all communication as it will help us immensely. Thank you.

This is a super long leather box which was made for a line bracelet but could be used for a similar bracelet, chain, even a narrow wrist watch

The long slender box is covered with brown leather and which has a gold enamel trim border

The inside of the lid is lined with dark blue silk and is signed in gold thread “James Hackett, Art Jeweller & Diamond Merchant, 42 Patrick Close, Cork”

The box is lined with deep blue padded velvet which has a fitted insert for the bracelet – it will take one 18cm long x 1.3cm wide

The box measures 22cm long x 3.8cm

The box closes well and is in overall excellent condition
