B&W XTC centre speaker - home cinema - Bowers & Wilkins

Regrettably, i am having to sell my home cinema system due to a house move and no longer having a deicated room.

Therefore i am selling my B&W XTC Centre speaker 

Speaker is a stunning aluminium finish

I'm sure if you are looking at this auction i don't need to tell you how good B&W speakers are, and you will know that these are the real deal.

Original cost was £600!!

Sound quality is fantastic

If i were in a position to keep these, i most certainly would, but now i just do not have the room to justify them so think its right for somebody else to enjoy them.

Unfortunately there is a scratch on the BOTTOM of the speaker (underside is not visible anyway when sat on stand) when it was being moved into a space on a new AV stand. Again, not visible when in use on the stand but just being honest, will show this in the pictures. There is also a mark on the top of the speaker which has proved very hard to photograph as its so light, yet its still there so i am mentioning it to be 100% upfront. Condition is good otherwise although it is a hard finish to keep clean from fingerprints etc!

Description: The extruded aluminium construction of the XT Series enclosure lends itself as much to a horizontal centre channel speaker as it does to the vertical XT4 and XT2. The acoustic and mechanical benefits of the construction reap similar rewards regardless of orientation. So, matching the XT4 and XT2 is the XTC; a two-way system incorporating twin Flowport™ loaded Kevlar® cone bass/midrange drivers and a centrally mounted Nautilus™ tube loaded aluminium dome tweeter. As befits its role in systems integrated with the XT4 and XT2, the XTC offers the same tonal balance and detailed, revealing character.

The XTC is more than just a centre channel speaker however. Pairs can also be used in vertical orientation as front speakers - wall mounted with the included mounting bracket one each side of the screen.

As any good centre channel speaker should, the XTC will knit together an XT Series AV system into a cohesive whole. The XTC however, with its curved, satin polished aluminium design, will do it while giving many a screen goddess a run for their money.
