Hello eBayers.
Please note: This is one of several auctions I've had running for the components of a truly high-end music & movie system. All the amplification components are from Arcam's top-end FMJ range - the speakers are audiophile products from B&W. So, if you're looking to upgrade or replace several elements of your current set-up, then please take a look at my other listings. Thanks.
This was until very recently the range that marked the crossover from high quality hi-fi to real audiophile performance. The HTM7 centre speaker marries terrific performance to a beautiful and compact design.
I can't seem to find reviews of the speaker on its own, but here's a fairly elderly one of an AV setup using speakers from the 700 range along with the HTM7.
The speaker is finished in MAPLE, and comes with baffles and original box. It's been in the same position, and in the same house, since purchase and is in excellent, A1 condition. The last time I checked it was retailing for an RRP of around GBP700.
This is a 'pickup only' item, and I'd like to discuss payment methods with the successful buyer before any payment is made. eBay is shortly to introduce new rules that rather patronisingly gag its members and forbid them from expressing a preference for certain payment methods over others - hence my quaint choice of phrasing in the previous sentence. By the way, eBay owns PayPal. I'll say no more.
Please note: if you've been following several of my auctions, it's worth adding that a pair of B&W Nautilus 705s, complete with FS700 stands, are up for sale now. They're finished in maple, are in excellent condition and boxed. They're the ideal complement to this item if you're looking for a set of top-end AV speakers.
Also: I'm planning to list an Arcam FMJ P7 power amplifier soon. This was until very recently Arcam's flagship power amplifier, retailing at an RRP of more than £3,000.
It's worth adding that I'm simultaneously offering all my items for sale through non-eBay channels. If you're interested, please bid promptly! Thanks.
The manual for the product should be here. The brochure should be here.
You should find a rundown here. If you can't read that, here it is in full:-
