This little box can be used as a Phono stage to allow a turntable to be connected into a 'normal' input on an amplifier, or alternatively it can do the same job for microphones.
it comes with its own external power supply. If you have a turntable, but no dedicated turntable input on your amp then this will plug the gap and allow you to listen to your records.
