Selection of letters and autograph clippings, also envelope fronts, classed as 'Bishops' and purchased from collectibles' auction in North Yorkshire.  There are three letters, a tiny portion affixed to album paper, which are from the Bishop of Ripon in 1867, 1869, 1870, also a clipped signature from same bishop.  The other items are difficult to decipher but they look like Henry Siena Lerne, King, but I really am not sure.  There is also a clipped signature 'Longstaff' or 'Longstaffe' on a page which has a message talking about a biography of a bishop.  Also two envelope fronts, one addressed to Thomas Rooke of London, the other to Reverend Doctor Hudson of Carlisle (dated and with a name that looks like 'Holland' or rkland'.  All good condition for age and I am sorry I can't be more specific but they are very difficult to read.
