The Cable - Constructed
from 3 cores of 2.5mm diameter Oxygen Free Copper mated to a
proprietary braided galvanised steel screen. The cable itself is fully
shielded to reduce RFI, serves to prevent ground loops induced and any
resultant mains noise is kept away from the equipment end. 1 Meter of
cable is supplied as standard and custom lengths are available.
The Termination - The body
and outer casing is made of high density PBT. This is mixed with 30%
glass filler for rigidity, thermal stability and high resonance
absorption.
The Cryogenic Plug - Stage one involves deep cryogenic processing. Pins
and connectors are submerged in immersion liquid nitrogen and slowly
cooled to -196 degrees Celsius (-320 Fahrenheit) for an extended period
of time. Computer calibrated profile plateaus are used to slow the
metals decent in temperature. A similar method is used then to ascend
the metal to ambient room temperature. Finally all cryogenically
exposed surface areas are then scrutinised and quality tested.
Stage two includes brasso treatment on the plug inserts via slow buffer
to slowly lift the top oxidised layer of metal and concludes with
DeoxIT™ D5 contact enhancer. The result is a brilliant finish, primed
ready to play audiophile plug.
Stage three, the final stage is the addition of a silver contact
Busmann fuse rated at 13amp. We finish all our plugs in a layer of
ProGold™ G5 and all plastic-to-metal parts in CaliLube.

For audio applications an increased harmonic resolution, greater detail
and more transparency in soundstage are common observations with cable
of this nature. A wider dynamic response throughout the audible
spectrum, smoother highs and improved bass articulation culminates in a
more organic presentation.
For video applications, the benefits centre around significantly less
noise in the video signal path. Expect a vivid, sharp and accurate
colour rendition. The blacks deepen into an inky black and the scan
resolution becomes quieter.
