Synopsis

Gardner and his allies in Congress and the Pentagon will stop at nothing – even destroying one of their own – to get what they want.
Yet McLanahan and his forces refuse to allow the Russian aggression to stand. McLanahan ignores directives from the White House and Pentagon to stand down and orders the ABF to attack secret Russian bases in Iran.
President Gardner orders McLanahan's immediate arrest. But before authorities can throw him in jail, they have to figure out how to retrieve him from the space base orbiting the earth. Currently in control of the Aerospace Battle Force from Armstrong Space Station, McLanahan closely watches Russia's movement of weaponry while defending himself against the President's attempts to discredit him. About the Author
Dale Brown, a former U.S. Air Force captain, was born in Buffalo, New York, and now lives in Nevada. Act of War is his seventeenth novel. He graduated from Penn State University with a degree in Western European history and received a U.S. Air Force commission in 1978. He was still serving in the Air Force when he wrote his highly acclaimed first novel, Flight of the Old Dog. Since then he has written a string of New York Times bestsellers, including, most recently, Battle Born, Warrior Class, Air Battle Force, and Plan of Attack.
About the Reader
Phil Gigante is an actor, director and producer with over 30 years experience in theatre, film, television and radio. He was a founding member of Chicago’s acclaimed Dolphinback Theatre Company, and is currently the artistic director of Gigrante Production and Little Giant Productions. He makes his home in the Midwest with his wife, actress Natalie Ross, and their two daughters.
