AUDI Leather Interior Dye Repair Scuff Kits 

Although known for being durable, hard wearing, easy to clean and aesthetically more pleasing to the eye than cloth, leather can also suffer from accidental damage or incorrect cleaning, subsequently leading to more damage.
Most of us, when getting in and out of our cars, rub against the seat bolsters,
Over time this will remove the manufacturers finish colour or cause colour fading.
Damage also occurs when you forget about the keys-pen-screwdriver that you have left in your back pocket, only to be reminded that it’s actually there when you slide into your seat!....
Cover these unsightly marks with Scuffmaster leather touch up dyes.
Scuffmaster dyes are water based colours which DO NOT require a top coats sealant-it’s built in!

Once dry the colour is PERMANENT and WATERPROOF.

It will NOT come off onto your clothes

 
Scuffmaster kits allow for fading or slight variation in original colour, by providing small bottles of toner to darken or lighten the main dye colour. A Gloss enhancer is also supplied to allow for leather that has become shiny.
All colours are CONCENTRATED so that you can repair all the common damage that occurs. All dyes are water based so just add water to thin to your needs.

All dyes can be use on vinyl as well as leather, so if you have unsightly marks or scratches on you’re interior trim then you can use this dye.

You may not have the time to find-remove interior parts and cut a piece of leather from your interior, so were are taking the hassle out of doing that.

Tips when applying the dye

It is very important that you make sure your leather is CLEAN before you apply the dye.

Using a damp cloth and wiping over your seats is not good enough.

Were the hide (back part of the leather) is showing, rub some neat dye in, this will give the base a key for when the diluted layers of dye are applied (If needed)

When covering an area, i.e.; whole bolster, ensure that thin layers of dye and not think layers are applied on top of each other and allow each layer to dry (A Hair dryer will speed up drying time)

Use even strokes when applying the dye, patchiness that appears after the first few layers will fade once more layer are put on.

With minor scratches you can either apply to the area direct with a toothpick or Colour wash. Colour washing is where you apply the dye over the affected and leave for 1-2 minutes To partially dry (drying time may vary depending on temperature at the time) then wipe off, this will leave the dye in the bad leather and remove it off the good.
If you make a mistake, remove all the dye before it dries fully, if you do let it dry and need to remove it, you can rub the area hard with a damp cloth or failing that, use white sprits (carefully).
