The Atacama Aurora 6 speaker stands are a complete rethink of traditional speaker stand design, offering stunning design and glass central columns which can be filled with almost anything you can think of. However, performance has not been overlooked.
While 'ringing' at each end of a glass column would normally prevent it from performing well (an effect which is similar to the sound created when you move your finger around the rim a wine glass), Atacama have overcome this problem by working closely with the motor industry to create the A.S.I.S.T. Gasket (Atacama Sonic Isolation System Technology) at each end of the column to prevent this. As a result, they sound as stunning as they look.
The glass column isn't the only radical feature of the Aurora 6's though, just look at the clear tripod spiked base. These really are a departure from your ordinary speaker stands and can be filled with almost anything (apart from liquid or living things!). The possibilites are endless! Overall, these are stunning and iconic speaker stands which sound as good as they look!
