K&N oil filters use resin impregnated cellulose filter media. This allows for higher flow rates while providing outstanding filtration. When the engine is circulating oil at the high-flow oil filter helps reduce the loss of pressure through the filtering process. Our oil filters are ideal for high-end synthetic motor oil. Synthetic motor oil is said to offer improved flow performance at cold temperatures while providing superior protection against thermal degradation. Some applications have additional notes in the 'comments' column; where specified the oil filter only fits the indicated version of the car or excludes a specific version. Please do not attempt to install any oil filters on an application not listed to prevent any problems.

K&N users would probably be surprised by the amount of air filtration testing and scientific research that goes on in K&N facilities as well as in independent laboratories. As the leader and originator of the high flow performance air filter K&N are always looking for new ways to provide excellent protection and maximum power for your car or just about anything else with an engine. So far in 2008 more than 1600 vehicles have been tested by K&Ns Research and Development group on dynamometers in the US the United Kingdom and the Netherlands. In addition to these power and torque tests K&N have also performed more than 110 filtration tests and more than 1200 air flow tests with their in-house state-of-the-art test equipment.
