Ashford Single drive spinning wheel, wool & bobbins

This auction is for an Ashford single drive spinning wheel, with two extra bobbins on a three-bobbin stand, and just over 100g wool to start the winning bidder off.  The wheel is in good working order, and the wool is in a totally raw, uncombed state.  I have been told the wool can be combed, and may be washed with water and washing up liquid to make it fluffier and more manageable.  Have no idea what type of wool it is, it came with the wheel.

I originally bought this spinning wheel in the spring, with the intention of learning to use it.  I also joined a spinners and weavers group.  Unfortunately I now have several reasons for selling:-

-                      I have only used it twice, and am therefore rubbish at spinning

-                      I would do better with a wheel that has a left footed pedal

-                      I have started College so the wheel is now just stored in a shed

I cannot give much in the way of detail on this wheel, just that I bought it from a family friend, who had this one spare.  Any questions I will try and answer them, or I can ask her.

 I forgot to mention that the wheel still has the previous owner's initials painted delicately on it.  I will not rub this off, I will leave that to the winning bidder.
