We have pleasure in offering this stunning Dax Tojerio, Cobra replica for sale.  The car was built was by Southside Concepts in Woolwich to showcase their work.  Southside Concepts are well known for their work within the TV industry as well as their work within the kit car industry and it shows when you look at this beauty.  

Colin Cooper, Southside’s Technical Director, specified the car and took total control over the build.  Every item used is literally the best available, the Ford 351 Windsor engine is a new turn-key unit built and supplied by the World renown Engine Factory in New Jersey, the specification of the engine is:-

The Winsor 351 was then fitted with Samco Blue hoses and mated to a brand new TREMEC TKO 500 5 speed gearbox, supplied by Roadcraft Ltd, (Repower), with a balance aluminium flywheel and carbon clutch.  The raitio were correctly matched to suit a Jaguar 2:88:1 rear axel.

The Dax chassis was first powder coated then painted silver clear over base throughout, (the car looks stunning underneath as well!).

Externally the car is fitted with all of the lovely details you see in the images, all constructed from stainless steel.  The bodywork was treated to a £5000 paintjob!  The car looks from a distance a deep green/black, as you approach the car the shades change from deep blue to emerald green with highlights around the front overlaid subtly in bronze.  I understand that due to the random nature of the paint it would be easy to repair in the event of an accident or damage.

Internally the car has been beautifully trimmed professionally by Alan Povey in two tone tan/green leather with green Wilton carpets piped in tan leather; the boot has had the same treatment.  In the boot there is a fitted fire extinguisher, the mohair roof and side screens are also stored inside, both of which are brand new and have only been fitted to the car to check the installation.

On the road – well what can I say; the car produces 400+ bhp in a car weighing 500kgs, or put another way a power to weight ratio of circa 800bhp per tonne!  For anyone who has experienced driving a large front engined car in the heat of summer will be glad to know that this car is not affected at all. Much attention has gone into isolating the massive heat produced from the engine from entering the cabin which makes it a most pleasant driving experience.
