Unmistakably Art Nouveau c1890’s this wonderful Mahogany coloured solid wood Coal Scuttle / hod with its wonderfully stylish Brass hardware is complete with its original liner which makes it a very sort after collectors item. The shovel that I have included is not the original however it is a genuine Victorian piece and goes together nicely with this item. The brass hinges are in superb condition and are the main feature of this Art Nouveau item. It measures approximately 9” high x 14” long x 10.5” wide. It is in superb condition with only minor scuffing that a little polish will take care of. Please see all the pictures below to appreciate the quality and detail of this wonderful Art Nouveau item.
